We are currently in the process of doing a side-by-side migration from Server A that is LDMS 9.5 SP2 to Server B that is LDMS 9.6. Our goal is while we move devices from server A to B, that our support staff can still use the remote control from Server A to control devices that are still on Server A as well as those that have been moved to Server B.
We have cross pollinated our certificates (Server A has B's and vice-versa). When we just send the new agent to have it report to Server B, remote control from Server A is still possible. Life is good.
Now for the issue: When a workstation is provisioned from Server B (whether its a new system or a reimage), Server A cannot remote control that device. We have done everything suggested from verifying the cert hashes on the workstations to making sure a full sync is done to Server A. Still no luck, just the error "The remote computer is not managed by your server".
What else can we try or is this a hopeless and broken feature?
