I have a question about FIPS in 9.5 SP1;
It sounds like it’s enabled by default in clients , but not on the core . It says that if enabled on the core but not clients then clients won’t work until a new agent is installed onto them . I’m unclear – if we upgrade core and FIPs is disabled by default, and we create and deploy a new agent that has FIPs enabled by default, will the new agents with FIPs enabled be able to communicate with the core? In other words, if core has FIPs enabled but clients do not, then clients won’t work, but if clients have FIPs enabled but core does not, then they will work?
